Taif National Park – Saiysad is one of the most prominent natural parks in the region, Located northeast of Taif city, the park spans approximately 28 million square meters, it was inaugurated during the reign of King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in 1999, and named after the historic Saiysad Dam, which was constructed by the Umayyad Caliph Muawiyah ibn Abi Sufyan in 705 AD, The park is known for its diverse topography, surrounded by mountainous terrains covered with native trees, and intersected by several valleys such as Wadi Al-Arj and Wadi Saiysad, its strategic location near Taif international Airport, major commercial and recreational centers, it is also close to residential areas such as Al-Halqa (East and West), Al-Naseem, Al-Suhaili, and Al-Rumaidah neighborhoods.
Saiysad National Park features diverse topography and serves as a natural reserve surrounded by tree-covered mountains and intersecting valleys, The area enjoys mild weather with an average annual temperature of approximately 20°C.
