This natural park is located along the Makkah–Madinah highway, adjacent to the Miqat area and near residential zones in Al-Jumum Province, one of the most prominent provinces in the region, The name "Al-Jumum" comes from “Al-Jumm,” meaning abundant water, The area hosts several historical sites, such as Al-Fath Mosque, where the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) passed during his journey to the conquest of Makkah, it is one of the largest parks in the area, covering approximately 4 million square meters, and is considered a key destination due to its vast space, flat natural environment, and suitable location for hosting events and recreational activities.

The park features a distinctive, beautiful landscape: a flat sandy plain dotted with a variety of wild trees such as Maerua crassifolia, Ziziphus spina-christi, Tamarix aphylla, Acacia tortilis, Acacia nilotica and Dobera glabra, as well as seasonal herbaceous plants and winding trails for walking and hiking amid nature’s embrace.
