Introduction:
As part of the Saudi Summer activities and with the participation of more than 400 volunteers, the center launched an awareness initiative that included 5 sites distributed across 4 regions. It lasted for five days with the aim of promoting community participation and environmental sustainability.
The events started from Wadi Lajb National Park in the Jazan region, passing through Prince Sultan National Park in the Asir region, and Al-Qimmah Park in the Al-Baha region, concluding its activities in Saisad National Park in the Taif governorate. The initiative included a number of voluntary and environmental awareness programs, such as cleaning and pruning trees in the national parks, vegetation cover cleaning campaigns, and environmental awareness for visitors to avoid harmful behaviors, thus enhancing community participation in preserving and sustaining the environment.
