About the initiative:
This initiative aims to launch a 10-year plantation and restoration program with the public sector with a target of 18 Mn local trees. The main objective is to offset CO2 emissions and preserve endangered ecosystems.
- The initiative contributes to SGI's targets by planting 18 Mn trees, and by reducing carbon emissions by 7.2 Mn tons which is 0.18% of the target.
Initiative goals:
- Provide nature-based solutions to carbon capture and combat climate change

- Promote sustainable practices by using treated wastewater for plantation irrigation
