Freedom of information is the right of individuals to access or obtain non-protected public information produced by public entities, in support of the principles of transparency and integrity.

The center allows individuals to submit requests for access to information, provided that the requested information is direct, clear, and consistent with the Freedom of Information policy. Any individual may submit a request to access or obtain information related to the center through the designated form. We emphasize that the center will review such requests within (30 days) from the date of receiving the request, determine whether to approve or reject it, and specify the applicable fees for processing requests to access or obtain public information based on the nature, volume, and required effort, as well as the time involved. The requester will be notified accordingly.

However, the following protected information is exempt from such requests:

  • Information whose disclosure could harm the state's national security, policies, interests, or rights.
  • Military and security information.
  • Information and documents obtained under an agreement with another country classified as protected.
  • Investigations, inquiries, enforcement actions, inspections, and surveillance activities related to a crime, violation, or threat.
  • Information containing recommendations, proposals, or consultations intended for the issuance of legislation or a government decision that has not yet been issued.
  • Commercial, industrial, financial, or economic information whose disclosure could lead to unlawful gain or avoidance of loss.
  • Scientific or technical research, or rights involving intellectual property rights, whose disclosure could infringe upon moral rights.
  • Information related to competitions, tenders, and bids, disclosure of which could compromise fair competition.
  • Information that is confidential or personal under other regulations, or that requires specific procedural steps for access or retrieval.

Furthermore, the center adheres to the following principles regarding freedom of information:

Principle One: Transparency.
Principle Two: Necessity and Proportionality.
Principle Three: Public information is presumed accessible.
