The national parks hosted more than 35 afforestation projects in various regions of the Kingdom, in addition to the "Let Them Be Green" campaign, aimed at increasing green areas and raising societal awareness. Afforestation helps restore biodiversity in natural environments, improving air quality, reducing air pollution and making the weather milder with less dust, in addition to its direct impact on the sustainability of surface and groundwater, strengthening resilience to climate change, which benefits the environment and society and improves the quality of life.
